General Shop Procedures

  • Each Job must have a customer purchase order and an assigned job number before manufacturing begins.

  • Each part must have a print with a job number marked on it.
    Any copies of prints are marked with a red “COPY”.

  • Any changes to a print must be marked with initials and date of change.

  • A Toolmaker is assigned to lead the project.

  • When material is received it is labeled and put in it’s proper location.

  • Each toolmaker is responsible for inspection of machined parts.
